About IGBERE

Igbere Organization New Jersey is a non-profit project oriented organization formed to undertake among other things: Education Programs such as preservation of Igbo Language, Tradition and Culture, Civic Projects inculding Schools Rehabilitation and Development, infrastructural design and construction of Municipal Complex at Ozara, Amankalu Igbere, Abia State, Nigeria


Our History
We originate from Igbere in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria. We have been pioneers in promotion and preservation of Igbo Language Tradition and Culture Worldwide through our active Project 'IGBO BASICS PUBLICATIONS and IGBOBASICS .COM and our participation at various Igbo Organizations including premier role at World Igbo Congress.

Igbere is a surbubian town in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State Nigeria. Located 66 miles from Aba the Commercial City of Eastern Nigeria, approximately 106 miles from Port Harcourt Airport 66 miles from Owerri, 26 Miles from Umuahia the Capital City of Abia State, 12 miles from Uzuakoli, 4 miles to Abriba and 18 miles to Ohafia.

Future Plans
Our imediate Plan is the sinking of a bore hole, installation of water reservoir and pipe born water at Amankalu Primary School to provide portable water for school children and the imediate community.
